MYKONOS. IN THE MEANWHILE.

Most people talk about energy (which may be emitted for years now from the opposite pagan island of Delos). I will talk about the beauty that was born there. The beauty that made Le Corbusier claim that if someone wants to be an architect he or she has to have studied the construction of the Mykonian houses. These little white sugar cubes with the round angles from cement plaster that, 'implanted' in the dry landscape don't melt in the heat, but make it sweeter!
It's almost magical to look at the nexus of the houses among which there are openings in order for the coolness and the crowds to circulate and for the legend to unfold. And the legend of this island started long ago. In it there are rich and poor, princes, palaces - kits symbols of power of people who got rich by chance; symbols that lie heavy on the crests of the island, endless feasts, good and bad, big liaisons. The only thing that this legend exaggerates on is the queens. Surely in Mykonos there are more than one.
And let's not forget the island's dual personality: that of the people who really made the island and the other of their eponymous version. When approaching Mykonos by the sea, another kind of sea comes out of the ships with one purpose only: to get out of control for as long as it can. This is probably the cause of the damage that is systematically done in the last few years, but this is not necessarily bad if you haven't had a share in it. You can always stay out of it (but in Chora). You won't miss anything from the hip. You be sure of that.
In the meanwhile, the latest news from the island is much. But here, you will read the set values that may be cashed in whole pages of the most composed travel blogs, but on the other hand they won't infuriate you unless you are staying on the right side of the island (as you look at the sea) in Agios Sostis.
